ISR Self-Rescue Lessons

These are the standard ISR lessons discussed on the ISR South Jersey under ISR Registration Information.  These lessons usually take an average of 6 weeks to complete.   Please remember: THIS IS AN AVERAGE.

Below are a few important lesson reminders to keep in mind when scheduling:

Lessons will be held Monday through Friday, 10 minutes each day for approximately 6 weeks.  Attendance daily is REQUIRED.
Two weeks of lesson fees are due in order to hold your spot. This fee amounts to $300. This deposit is nonrefundable. If cancelled outside of 30 days prior to the lesson start time, your deposit can be transferred to another session within the calendar year based upon availability.

Lessons are made up if the instructor cancels only (or for extended illness).

Attendance during the 6 week session is required for your child's success. Please do not register for lessons if you can not commit to the required attendance during the approximate 6 weeks.

Approximately 3 weeks prior to lessons, we will process our national registration fee of $105. This is paid to Infant Swimming Resource directly, NOT your instructor. Every instructor has a unique link to register.  If you are transferring from another instructor you will need to register under Sara Neal specifically.

Your child should not consume food or drink for 1.5-2.0 hours before each lesson. Dairy products may need additional time to digest. Please schedule accordingly.

Refresher Lessons
These lessons are for children who have already completed survival lessons. As the name implies, these lessons enable the children to "refresh" the skills that they have already learned. Students attend lessons Monday-Friday for ten minutes each day. Since these skills are not new to the children, refresher lessons usually take approximately two to three weeks.

These lessons are for children who have already completed survival lessons. Maintenance lessons help students to maintain their skills and confidence throughout the year. Ideally, maintenance lessons should be scheduled at the intervals recommended by the instructor, ranging from once or twice a week to once a month.
