Introductory Survival
MUST HAVE 20 PARTICIPANTS TO CONDUCT CLASS

Infants 6 to approximately 12 months (rolling) will learn to roll over from a face down position onto their backs to rest and breathe.  Infants complete a clothes checkout in spring and winter clothing and a diaper to simulate an accidental fall in the pool.

Toddlers 12 months and up (walking) will learn the entire swim-float-swim sequence as well as the skill of rolling back, floating, resting and breathing on their back.  Toddlers will also pass the clothes checkout in spring and winter clothing.

All lessons have a 1:1 instructor to student ratio.

Maintenance

These lessons are for children who have already completed survival lessons. Maintenance lessons help students to maintain their skills and confidence throughout the year. Ideally, maintenance lessons should be scheduled at the intervals recommended by the instructor, ranging from once or twice a week to once a month.

Refresher
These lessons are for children who have already completed survival lessons. As the name implies, these lessons enable the children to "refresh" the skills that they have already learned. Students attend lessons Monday-Friday for ten minutes each day. Since these skills are not new to the children, refresher lessons usually take approximately two weeks.
